The Eyes of Kharan pt. 1

Ch. 1: Morning of War

The elders told tales of the god of calamities and sorrow. He would weep for ages before no man occupied the planet. The rivers are his tears. One day his weary eyes decided to leave him because they were miserable. They fell off of his face and sank to the bottom of a river. Whoever could find them would bring a smile to the god’s face. Sorrow would end for as long as that person lived.
